We recently shared a cup of tea with Sharon to catch up with what she has been doing. Sharon was looking for more independence and the opportunity to meet new people.
Already living independently, Sharon, with the support of her myCSN Support Coordinator, decided that attending a camp would be a good next step.
Originally a little unsure about what a camp might entail, but prepared to ‘give it a go”, Sharon booked and attended her first camp in April – and she loved it. In fact, Sharon enjoyed the camp so much she booked another two trips as soon as she got back.
On her most recent trip to Anglesea, Sharon was awarded with a certificate recognising her development and contribution at the camp and she has since been empowered to become a leader of the group, helping others by reassuring them as they begin their camp journey.
It’s been a fantastic experience for Sharon and we look forward to helping her plan many more adventures in the future.
If you are looking to achieve more out of your NDIS plan, contact your Support Coordinator at myCSN to hep you access the best services to suit you.
We recently conducted a survey on our social media page to ask people what they thought about invoice processing times for Plan Management. The results indicated that the majority of Plan Management clients expect their invoices to be processed with 7 working days.
At Care Support Network we have decided to step this up! The team has made the commitment to provide payment of approved invoices within 4 working days. It’s part of how we continue to make our services better for you.
When your plan reaches the 9-month mark, your Support Coordinator will be in touch with you to undertake a review and reflect on your plans performance. This is a great chance to think about what is ahead and how you might like your next plan to service your needs.
