Australia is undergoing one of the greatest social reforms since Medicare came into effect in 1984. In the past, people with disability seeking support had very little choice or control. Over time, the disability support services and systems have become complex, costly, unwieldy and inflexible – often making life extra difficult for people attempting to navigate it all.
For the first time, we are seeing the opportunity for revolutionary change, thanks to the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Care Support Network is part of this revolution. We know from real life experience that a simple “tweaking” of current services simply won’t solve the challenges. An entirely fresh approach is desperately needed.
We imagine a new world that combines the power of relationships, knowledge, technology and community.
