Australia is undergoing one of the greatest social reforms since Medicare came into effect in 1984. In the past, people with disability seeking support had very little choice or control. Over time, the disability support systems have become complex, costly, unwieldy and inflexible – often making life extra difficult for people attempting to navigate it all. For the first time, we are seeing the opportunity for revolutionary change, thanks to the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Care Support Network is part of this revolution. For a collective 30 years, founders Rob Evers and Irena Gelman have both been actively involved in Australia’s aged care and disability support sectors.
We know from real life experience that a simple “tweaking” of current services simply won’t solve the challenges. An entirely fresh approach is desperately needed.

Meet our founders
Rob is a co-founder and CEO of Care Support Network. He has been in leadership positions (CEO/Director) of aged care and disability organisations – both for profit and not for profit – since 2002. Prior, Rob was General Manager Australia for MYOB Limited, which grew four-fold under his leadership in 2000.
Irena is a co-founder and the Chief Operating Officer of Care Support Network. She has been providing HR consulting and advisory services since 2002 after an eight-year role with Westpac. Irena understands how to create an environment that attracts and retains staff and she has experienced first-hand the staffing challenges of the aged care and disability services sectors.
